We are on July 26. We roll towards Kédougou in a mini bus when suddenly the voices are keep silent. People murmur and the sound system howls. I request from my neighbor what it occurs. He answers me of a disconcerted air:
“But it is the tournament of fight, the end of the season and today it is the king of the arenas who fights! ”

Invitation in Bédik country
After 13:00 of 7 places, in which the touffor of the air still seemed to have increased we arrive at Kédougou. On arrival, the toubab which I am made laugh the villagers. I leave a waistcoat because I am cold! We did not lose well a few degrees, it does not make any more but 30°C. We are in the extreme south-east of Senegal, in a preserved area which shelters ethnos groups with the strong traditions animists: Bediks, Bassaris,…

Why buy a motor home?
We travelled much bag to the back before the children. I acknowledge that our preference goes to this style of voyage, nearer to the populations, more with the contact and because we adore local transport. Those make really party of a tour, just as to place at the inhabitant. But for escapades of a few days or a long voyage the camp-site because is ideal… Ah yes and why?
